One of the most under appreciated modern American singer-songwriters but really famous artists back him up in studio recordings. Pray for his recovery from recent health issues. Postive Mental Attitude is what Jesse is about.
My eyes are welling up as I watch this a second time. RIP Todd Youth. RIP Raybeez. RIP Vinny Value. You changed my life for the better. I wish I could repay you all
Bro thank you so much for making this song. I also didn't get to say good bye to Todd. We met back in 2015-16 in LA. I was a monk serving at the Govinda's a the Hare Krishna temple he rolled in looking like a fucking rocker. haha I was like what's up my mans, you look like you play in a band. He said yeah I do you ever heard of the the cro-mags or the band called Dio? haha I was like I knew you were a hardcore guy! He said and this is my friend here, he drums for a band called queens of the stone ages, you heard of them? haha Who hasn't?! I grew up on metal music and here was I was serving Krishna blessed food for some of the metal & Hard core legends. Since then he brought the drummer back, Maybe his name was john, and they could come for kirtans (Mantra music) and of course the food. Todd would always talked about the days back in the 80's with HxC music and he loved his friend John Joseph a lot. we would keep in touch over the years until I left the monastery to go be with my mother who was in her last stages of life. It was in 2018-19 that I was sitting taking Krishna lunch in Denver Co that my friend who was also from that same monastery told me that my friend passed away. I was floored. I felt like, it happened so suddenly, He just dove all the way in to his spirituality and was becoming serious, and he was making some positive changes in his life. It must have been that Krishna wanted him back home. Anyway, Thank you brother for this heart touching dedication to our friend. I am blessed and honored to know such a person like Todd. He was always so loving and concerned for others. Even when shit was a little topsy turvey at home he would always say, "yeah well what are you going to do, anyway how are you man, you good you okay?" in his New Yorker accent. lol I have so much love for him. He is definitely missed, but I know he is with his eternal crew now. Hare Krishna.
